Θεωρία, αισθητική της αρχιτεκτονικής και της πόλης

Αναπληρώτρια καθηγήτρια στη σχολή Αρχιτεκτόνων του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης, όπου διδάσκει Θεωρία και Αρχιτεκτονικό-Αστικό σχεδιασμό. Οι σπουδές της περιλαμβάνουν: Aρχιτεκτονική στη σχολή του ΑΠΘ, Αστικό σχεδιασμό και Αρχιτεκτονική Θεωρία και Αισθητική στην Aρχιτεκτονική στη σχολή ETSAB Βαρκελώνης. Δρ. Αρχιτέκτων ΑΠΘ,  το θέμα της διατριβής της ‘Η έννοια του τόπου στις αρχιτεκτονικές θεωρίες και πρακτικές – Σχέσεις φιλοσοφίας και αρχιτεκτονικής στον 20^ο αιώνα’ εξετάζει το διεπιστημονικό πεδίο ανάμεσα στην φιλοσοφία και την αρχιτεκτονική. Έχει αναλάβει την επιστημονική επιμέλεια αρχιτεκτονικών ερευνητικών δράσεων εκπροσωπώντας επίσημους φορείς και έχει πολυάριθμες δημοσιεύσεις σε έγκριτα αρχιτεκτονικά βιβλία και περιοδικά. Το ερευνητικό και εκπαιδευτικό της έργο εστιάζει στη σύνδεση της θεωρητικής σκέψης με την μεθοδολογία της αρχιτεκτονικής σύνθεσης.

Dimitra Chatzisavva

Associate Professor, School of Architecture TUC

Associate Professor at the School of Architecture of the Technical University of Crete, where she teaches Theory and Architectural – Urban design. Her studies include: Architecture (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Urban design, Architectural Theory and Aesthetics in the Department of Architecture (School of Architecture Barcelona ETSAB). She holds a PhD in Architecture (AUTH), her thesis: «The concept of place in architectural theories and practices – Relations between philosophy and architecture in the 20^th century» examines the transdisciplinary field between architecture and philosophy. She has undertaken scientific supervision for architectural research activities representing official institutions and has numerous publications inrefereed architectural books and journals. Her research and educational work focuses on linking theory with the methodology of architectural composition.
