Σημαίες ως Επαναστατικά Σύμβολα
Οι τοπικές κοινωνίες και εξέχουσες προσωπικότητες δημιουργούν σημαίες – λάβαρα ως αναγνωριστικά και ενθαρρυντικά της επανάστασης που προετοιμάζεται και σταδιακά πραγματοποιείται. Η παρουσίασή τους σε διάφανο κύβο επιλέγεται ως το πλέον κατάλληλο μέσο τόσο σημειολογικά όσο και πρακτικά. Ο κύβος , το εξάεδρο, ένα από τα πλατωνικά στερεά, συμβολίζει τη γη, κυρίαρχο στοιχείο – το τοπικό – κατά την επανάσταση και το συνολικό – για την δημιουργία κράτους. Ένα από τα αναπτύγματα του κύβου είναι έξι τετράγωνα σε σχήμα σταυρού. Ο σταυρός είναι επίσης κυρίαρχο στοιχείο σε όλα τα λάβαρα-σημαίες που ως θρησκευτικό σύμβολο ενώνει όλους τους επαναστατημένους, τους προστατεύει και τους ενθαρρύνει στην προσδοκία της Ανάστασης. Τέλος η διαφάνεια συντελεί στην παρουσίαση της αλληλοεπίδρασης των συμβόλων των επαναστατημένων στον ελλαδικό χώρο και ενισχύει την συνθετική τους δράση.
Flags as Revolutionary Symbols

Local communities and prominent personalities create flags – banners as its identifiers and encouragement revolution that is being prepared and is gradually taking place. Their presentation in a transparent cube is chosen as the most appropriate means both semiologically and practically. The cube, the hexahedron, one of the Platonic solids, symbolizes the earth the dominant element – the local – during the revolution and the total – in the creation of the state. One of expansions of the cube are six squares in the shape of a cross. The cross is also a dominant element in all banners-flags that as a religious symbol unites them all rebels, protects them and encourages them in expectation of the Resurrection. Finally, transparency contributes to presentation of the interaction of Greek revolutionaries’ symbols’ and strengthens their synthetic action.

Τελειόφοιτος φοιτητής στο τμήμα Εσωτερικής Αρχιτεκτονικής στο Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Αττικής, με καλλιτεχνικό και επαγγελματικό προσανατολισμό στην θεατρική σκηνογραφία. Έχει συμμετάσχει στο Summer School του Bauhaus Universität Weimar στη Γερμανία στο τομέα του Lighting Design. Έργα του έχουν εκτεθεί στην Ελλάδα (Αθήνα, Θεσσαλονίκη, Κέρκυρα).
Vougas Panagiotis
Graduate student in the Department of Interior Architecture at the University of West Attica, with artistic and professional orientation towards theatrical scenography. He has attended the Summer School of the Bauhaus Universität Weimar, in Germany in the field of Lighting Design. His works have been exhibited in Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki, Corfu).
